I have been asked by a client to carve a special melon. The client requirements were the following:
1. It should be a melon for a 60 years old man anniversary.
2. Therefore it should have a solid 3D pattern without tiny elements.
3. Because the anniversary party is taking in a restaurant with half-lighting and the melon should be photogenic when guests are photographing it using a flash.
4. They don't like roses.
I've got the task along with a medium size melon. I've decided on this floral pattern built on a contrast. The picture of the special melon is taking in a flash mode. I am sure it will look great on a fruit plate together with grapes and cherry as it's supposed to be displayed.
