How To Make A Drink Rose Garnish

This drink garnish was specially created for  Cider Contest I am participating now.  The challenge was to make cider, tell your cider story and present cider nicely. I came up with the drink presentation and garnishing cider with a slice of green apple. 

The method for making the slice garnish has nothing difficult to do. But it may look different when you touch it with a special carving loop. This kind of loop can be found on a peeler as shown on the picture.  A special carving loop tool makes neater work though.
